The Nickel Plate District is known for its walkable streets, local businesses, and welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for festival-goers to explore before and after events. Fishers itself is a dynamic Indianapolis suburb that has experienced tremendous growth while maintaining its small-town charm. The area is home to excellent schools, beautiful parks, and a strong sense of community pride. Beyond the festival grounds, visitors can enjoy the city's numerous dining options, shopping destinations, and recreational facilities that make Fishers an attractive destination year-round. ## Activities & Attractions Spark!Fishers packs an incredible variety of entertainment and activities across its six-day run: Live Music & Entertainment kicks off the festival on Tuesday with a free concert featuring Sixteen Candles at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, followed by a spectacular drone show that lights up the night sky. Friday brings another free concert featuring Saved by the '90s, culminating in a popular fireworks display. Saturday's Street Fair is the crown jewel of the festival, running from 2 to 9 p.m. with more than 100 carefully selected food and art vendors offering delicious cuisine, handmade goods, and live demonstrations. Multiple stages throughout the district feature continuous live entertainment, from the main stage at the amphitheater to community performances and solo acts. Family Activities abound, including inflatables and water fun, a roller rink, skate park, face painting, caricatures, magicians, and balloon artists. A Ferris wheel on Municipal Drive offers spectacular views of the city on Friday and Saturday. Active Events include the Wednesday 5K Walk/Run and All Abilities 1-Miler, featuring an after-party with a DJ, inflatables, yoga classes, food trucks, and drinks. The Thursday Car & Art Show displays vintage and classic automobiles alongside works from local artists and artisans.
