About This Festival

CarmelFest is a vibrant two-day Independence Day celebration held on July 3rd and 4th in Carmel, Indiana, centered around Civic Square and Carter Green. It features a patriotic parade, spectacular fireworks synchronized with music, multiple live music performances, a beer and wine garden, a kids’ activity zone, festival food, and marketplace shopping, making it an event with something for all ages.

The vibe is festive and family-friendly with a strong community spirit, combining traditional Fourth of July patriotic celebrations with a broad variety of entertainment and activities. The event's schedule includes:

  • July 3: Festival activities run from 1 PM to 10 PM. Evening includes a concert by the Indiana Wind Symphony on the Gazebo stage from 8 PM to 9 PM.
  • July 4: Festival activities from noon to 10 PM. The famous Allied Solutions CarmelFest Parade starts at 10 AM, following a route west on Carmel Drive, north on Rangeline Road, and east on Main Street. The parade is also live-streamed for remote viewing.
  • Live music is available both days on multiple stages, featuring genres from classic rock to country. Notable acts include the Tommy Baldwin Trio (soulful blues rock), Back 2 Mac (Fleetwood Mac tribute), and School of Rock students showcasing diverse musical talents.
  • The Beer & Wine Garden offers a curated selection of local and regional beverages in a relaxed atmosphere with live music.
  • The KidsZone features supervised attractions such as bungee jumping, obstacle courses, rock climbing, and rides, providing a fun and adventurous space for children.
  • Fireworks display on the evenings of both July 3 and 4, synchronized with music broadcasted on WHJE 91.3 FM for a fully immersive experience.
